In the Forest is an imaginative and atmospheric ,semi abstract painting loosely based on a forest in the Highlands where I used to go for long walks. It was inspired by the need for us to plant more trees and forests as well as conserve our existing forests and woodlands. I've used watercolours and gouache with a touch of inktense on a gessoed, tissue and board substrate.
The painting will be in an antique white mount within a dark blue stained wood frame.
