Wistfulness is about capturing a mood, a feeling, an atmosphere. It was triggered by a wistful yearning for my beloved Scotland and memories of journeys soaking up the wild beauty through the train window. This is an expressive take loosely based on one of my 'on the move' northward bound photos. It uses colour and texture to create atmosphere. There's a symbolism to the tree with it's branches reaching out....
