BREATHE ART

A series of paintings inspired by my love for trees, for Scotland and a very special song by Midge Ure called ‘Breathe’. There’s a lyric ‘breathe to make me breathe’ that although written in an entirely different context has triggered a whole series of paintings.

The first three were created for the 'Trees for Life' Caledonian forest tree planting project in 2011...the year that the UN has declared the Year of the Forest.
